In a press release, Jio and Qualcomm announced their new partnership. This partnership is all about 5G infrastructure deployment in India. The two companies will work together to develop the necessary tools for a successful rollout of 5G networks in India. “Jio has been committed to enabling widespread use of digital services across Indian society,” said Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). “The potential benefits are immense with every citizen being empowered with data access that can improve quality-of-life.”
The agreement has been signed for the next 20 years, with an initial investment of ₹730 crores. The first phase of the project will involve building a 5G lab for testing and developing use cases for the technology.

2. Tech Mahindra & ITI
Tech Mahindra
Mahindra Group’s Tech Mahindra announced its new “5G Enterprise” initiative, which will use the company’s resources to explore and develop 5G-based solutions for enterprises and government customers.
TechM’s 5G enterprise provides companies with the opportunity for setting up their very own private cellular network which spans over wide areas while allowing them additional mobility in acquiring data such as surveillance footage or sensor readings through IoT-enabled devices.

Tech Mahindra & ITI Partnership to Make 5G Ecosystem In India
As part of Make in India, IT company Tech Mahindra has partnered with state-run telecom manufacturing firm ITI together with local partners to provide a 5G technology infrastructure in India including 5G enabled radios, 5G enabled devices and 5G enabled core system with some of the billing and OSS systems which are well integrated.
